Furniture packing and moving boxes
The crew arrives with its own film, tape and tools, and packing is part of the moving rate. Boxes and materials can be bought or rented from us as well.
Packing is included in the rate from 25 €/h, VAT included · boxes from 3.90 € · all boxes are delivered flat-packed and have to be taped up.
What we pack and how
Furniture
Taken apart, corners protected, wrapped in film. Screws and fittings go into a labelled bag.

Dishes, glass, mirrors and light fittings in bubble wrap; plates stand on edge rather than flat.
Electronics
TVs and monitors get their own packaging; the drum of a washing machine is locked in place.

Paintings go into a box with corner protection; safes and pianos are quoted separately.

How many boxes will I need
The result is a range, not a final quote. We confirm the exact number and price after your enquiry.
Materials come to roughly 130–190 € in total. If you pack yourself, we deliver the boxes 1–2 days in advance.
How to pack a box properly
Weight and order
- Heavy at the bottom, light on top
- Books only in small boxes
- Fill the box to the top: a half-empty one collapses
- One box up to 20 kg, or the handles tear
- Tape the bottom crosswise
Fragile items
- Plates on edge, not flat
- Glasses stuffed with paper
- Gaps filled so nothing shifts
- «FRAGILE» written on two sides
Labelling
- Write the room the box is going to, not the one it came from
- Contents in three words on the side, not on the lid
- Label the first-night box separately
How packing works
Materials in advance
We deliver boxes and film 1–2 days ahead so you can pack personal items yourself.
The crew packs
Furniture apart, corners protected, film on. Screws go in a labelled bag taped to the cabinet.
Labelling
Every box gets the name of the room it is going to. Unpacking follows those labels.
Transport and assembly
At the new address we put the furniture back together and collect the packing materials.

Our activity is insured through Kominsur Kindlustusmaakler OÜ, and the cover applies to damage during transport.

Plastic crates to rent
1.20 € per day, if you would rather not buy cardboard and throw it away afterwards.
Dismantling is in the price
Taking furniture apart and putting it back together at the new address is on the same 25 €/h rate; you do not book it separately.

We say up front what we do not do. That way neither side spends time on the wrong enquiry, and you know who to look for instead.
A single box across town
The minimum booking is one hour with a crew, and for delivering one box that is expensive.
Museum-grade packing
Moving an art collection or an instrument under climate control needs a specialist transport company.
Delivery of materials without a move
We sell the materials, but we have no separate courier service for boxes: they arrive with the crew or are collected from our office.
